VACANCY 4 – Live in carer / Driving license required

Note – for this role candidates MUST have some sort of UK base in London (e.g. with friends) just in case there is no immediate placement straight after the training (for example there may be a 1 week gap between the training and first placement)

HEAD OFFICE – RICKMANSWORTH, NORTH WEST LONDON (NEAR WATFORD)

Start date = (3 days of in-house training) 19 MAY (arriving the day before) .

TRAINING IS UNPAID . . . but . . . Accommodation is provided FREE OF CHARGE for the 3 days (4 nights) of training close to the training centre.

THE ROLE : Caring for elderly people in their own home. Involves personal care (washing / dressing / feeding).

Prior care experience is preferred / good understanding of the role is essential. Good communication skills are essential.

PAY RATE : approx £450 – £550 per week, depending on the package.

•Locations of placements – Hertfordshire / Buckinghamshire

•ACCOMMODATION IS OBVIOUSLY PROVIDED AS THIS IS A LIVE IN CARE JOB (CARING FOR 1 ELDERLY PERSON IN THEIR OWN HOME)

• 2 – 3 HOUR BREAK PER DAY

•WORK 4-8 WEEKS AT A TIME, FOLLOWED BY A 1-2 WEEK BREAK. (SHIFT PATTERNS CAN BE DISCUSSED WITH MANAGER, SOME PEOPLE PREFER TO WORK UP TO 8 WEEKS STRAIGHT FOLLOWED BY A BREAK)

•NOTE – THERE IS NO ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED DURING THE 1-2 WEEK BREAK (so candidates would either travel back to Poland or use their UK base)

•FOOD SOMETIMES PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE (DEPENDS ON CLIENT)

•GOOD LEVEL OF ENGLISH COMMUNICATION IS ESSENTIAL / GOOD COOKING SKILLS ALSO REQUIRED !!

•IMPORTANT: As there is no accommodation provided during the 1-2 week breaks, then candidates with some type of UK base would also be more suitable, although this is not essential (it just works out easier) ; Candidates could also fly back to Poland during their breaks but this would be at their own expense!

•Employees need to be flexible with regards to location of work (as this will obviously change based on the requirements of the company). Quite often employees will end up caring for the same client for a long period (if desirable from both sides)
